* Student registration form must be accompanied by a letter from the head of department confirming your status and/or a valid student card sent to once your registration has been confirmed. PhD degree holders will not be considered as students. Only local students will be eligible for these fees.

** The registration fee for accompanying persons includes access to the welcome reception, excursion, conference dinner, lunches and refreshments during breaks. Accompanying persons has to register separately and will be invoiced separately.

Note: All international bank charges are for the account of the delegate and should be added to your bank transfer.

Early Bird registration fees of ZAR 7 500.00  are payable before 19 August 2016.  From 20 August 2016 the fees will be ZAR 8 500.00

The registration fee for accompanying persons is ZAR 3 500.00 

Invoices will be sent after registration and payments are to be made to iThemba LABS. Banking details will be provided and payment by credit card will be possible. Registration will only be confirmed once payment has been received.  A copy of the bank transfer must be sent to the Secretariat at (The copy must indicate the participant’s name or registration number).

The registration fees for Full Participants includes:

  • Participation in all scientific sessions;
  • Entrance to the exhibition area;
  • Conference bag and abstract book;
  • Welcome reception;
  • Conference excursion;
  • Refreshments during the conference breaks;
  • Lunches;
  • Banquet;
  • A 2 year membership to INTDS

The Conference Proceedings will only be distributed to Full Participants.

The registration fees for Accompanying Persons includes:

  • Welcome reception;
  • Lunches and refreshments during breaks;
  • Conference excursion;
  • Banquet.

Cancellation and Payment Policy

  • Registration will not be considered as complete until full payment is received. Pre-payment of the registration fee is required.
  • Refund of registration fees, less 20% for administrative charges, will be made for cancellations received before 1 August 2016. After this date, no refunds will be possible. Refunds will be processed after the Conference. In case of a no-show, no refund will be possible.
